Aida is an independent Makeup Artist from NYC. Specializing in clean makeup application she has the innate ability to bring out the natural beauty of her clients without changing their overall appearance. Experienced with working on a clientele of various cultures she has gained knowledge in all different skin tones, types and features.
Her passion for art began as a child as she loved to draw just about everything she set her eyes on. Born to Colombian immigrant parents who built a name for themselves as business owners in the tourism industry, she found herself instilled with a business mindset at an early age. Graduating with a Bachelors degree from Baruch College she was determined to use the business knowledge she acquired to one day be a business owner herself. Little did she know that her love for art would come full circle later in life.
Blogging played an important role in her decision to become a makeup artist. A few years ago she started a makeup blog focused on reviewing beauty products. As time went on people began to take notice of her makeup work and it was then that she fully immersed herself into the beauty world and began freelancing as a makeup artist. Soon after she founded what is now known as Lucero Artistry.
As the saying goes, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.." Her love for creating art and the ability to make others feel beautiful about themselves (inside & out) drives her to master her craft. Offering personal makeup services in the Tri-State area for all types of events and occasions, she is there to make your beauty dreams come to life!
